The Swan Hill Outdoor Pool will soon boast a new all abilities family change room, thanks to funding and support from the 2016 Voyage Fitness Riverside Tri.
This fantastic new addition will also include a pool hoist. The hoist will allow people with mobility difficulties, including those that use a wheelchair, to use the facilities in the change room without any manual lifting. It will also be used to transfer a swimmer from their own wheelchair to an aqua chair – a modified wheelchair that is designed to go directly into the pool via a ramp.
